Onions Prismacolor

 I've been on and off my art table over the years. Trying to find my niche in what I want to do in the art world. I am doing my first Plein Air paint out May 5th. I'm scared and excited! Any advice? I'm anxious to try color pencil on outdoor subjects, I'm also thinking of trying watercolor or acrylic... I have made an excellent Pochade case for myself. (next post) I am addicted to fruit and veggies with colored pencil right now.

Very proud of myself, finally getting back into using my prismacolor pencils... The veggie jar was done on bristol smooth and the cowboot was done on pastel paper... I love the texture it gave the jeans and when blended it made the boot a leather texture. Once again when it gets online I see a few things that need to be changed... But I love these none the less! Yeah! I'm back, I hope...

A sketch from 20 years ago!

A small sketch I did a long time ago. I burnt the edges of the paper as something different. This was probably one of the first times I tried sketchy the human body, I still struggle with it.

Getting back to it

trying to get back into the swing of my pencils again. I really do enjoy using these pencils and when you use the blender how it just pops!

Stuck

This is oil... I have got some base parts done and would like to start details, the right side has trees that I didn't even attempt.... for some reason I have quit this one. On to others and maybe I'll be back. I'm feeling the need to use color pencils again.

Not the best thing I ever did and not the worst. Heh!
I'm still working on my other painting of a landscape from Ireland, for some reason it has just gone down hill. I'm stuck, but no biggie, I'll get back to it again soon. Now I'm working on other projects, sewing, etc. Merry Christmas to all!
